Custody work available for Paramedics / RGN's / Dual RGN's and RMN's in the North West area £25ph Your new company Hays Healthcare are looking for Paramedics, Registered General Nurses, and dual Registered General Nurses and Registered Mental Health Nurses to work in police custody suites across the North West. Your new role You will deliver the requirements of the forensic practitioner service following the Codes of Practice of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and the locally agreed protocols. Provide advice and support to custody officers in determining the health care needs of detainees and the priorities of care. Seek telephone advice and refer cases to the doctor or Consultant FME when required. Work with other members of the team to ensure that the service is provided at all times. Including demonstrating flexibility and acting supportively at all times. What you'll need to succeed To have been a continuous resident in the UK for at least 36 months A full UK driving licence HCPC/NMC registered Competent in oral and written English Previous nursing/paramedic experience obtained within a custody or A&E environment would be desirable.
