£18.15 p/h – Band 6 Equivalent/Circa £37.7K | 40 Hour Contract – Days | RGN/RMN/RNLD Considered | Elderly, Dementia & Disability Care A leading elderly care home in the Larne area currently requires an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to work as Sister/Charge Nurse on a full-time, permanent basis. The large care home offers round the clock care and support packages to adults of all ages, but specialises in elderly, dementia and disability care. Details of this RGN/RMN/RNLD Sister/Charge Nurse position and what the home is offering: A permanent contract for 40 hours per week, working flexible day shifts Great rates of pay of £18.15 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates and a salary in the region of £37,750 Generous overtime rates A comprehensive induction with ongoing learning and development opportunities and a supportive working environment As Sister/Charge Nurse, you will lead shifts, coordinate care and support junior nursing staff, playing a key role in the day to day management of the home. You will act as named Nurse for a caseload of residents, effectively manage clinical records and will participate in the on-call rota when required. What we are looking for in a Sister/Charge Nurse: NMC Registered Nurse - Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD Demonstrate previous experience working in a UK nursing home setting, with supervisory experience Good communication and interpersonal skills and confident leading shifts and coordinating care Able to participate in all aspects of care delivery, including the moving and handling of residents when required To apply now, please follow the link provided.
