We are currently recruiting for a leading retail logistics distributor based in Bilston - WV14 Job Title: Warehouse Team Manager Department/Location: Retail Supply Chain - Bilston WV14 Reports to: Operations Manager Contract type: 6 Month Contract Salary: £23,000 pa pro rata Job Purpose: To plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the retail warehouse team. Providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training and development. Context: Achievement of productivity targets Achievement of pick accuracy Achievement of personal development objectives Key interfaces and relationships: Supply Chain Team Warehouse Colleagues Transport Team Retail Colleagues Key Accountabilities /Actions: Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity targets Day to day management of warehouse colleagues Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements Assist Operations Managers with daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures Deliver team member performance reviews Manage disciplinary and grievance issues in line with HR policy Ensure Company policies are communicated, implemented and enforced where appropriate Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for colleagues Responsibility for all issues relating to health & safety and the environment Need to know: Educated to high school (secondary) standard Strong Retail Warehouse experience Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements Excellent organisational skills Good verbal and numerical skills IT literate Workload Planning Need to be: Capable of coping with significant change and a fast-paced environment A good leader by example Good problem solver Customer focussed Highly motivated Strong communicator Good problem solver If you have warehouse management / supervisory experience please please submit your CV to be considered for an immediate interview INDLEONA WAREHOUSE MANAGER WAREHOUSE MANAGER WAREHOUSE MANAGER WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
