Trade Compliance Officer
Overview
Reporting into the Head of Trade Compliance for the Helicopter Division (LMLW's Yeovil site). Key Responsibility Areas Managing the TAA (Technical Assistance Agreement) validation process and keeping full records of the process in line with the Core Instruction 15.3 (the company's main export control procedure) Assisting the Head of Trade Compliance in supporting the Business in implementing Core Instruction 15.3. Assisting each team member in drafting General Correspondence requests/Retransfer requests under different jurisdictions, as applicable, and keeping relevant audit trail (updating relevant registers) Ensuring any record keeping requirement on Trade Compliance is fully satisfied as per Core Instruction 15.3. Assisting on the administrative aspects of Trade compliance, providing an opportunity to learn the basics about Export Control, UK/EU regulations, ITAR/EAR US export control regulations. Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required University degree in Business Administration or similar. International background with multicultural approach to both individuals and issues. Fluency in at least another foreign language. Experience in drafting procedures is a plus. Experience in managing projects. Right attitude, i.e.: working on new topics with proactivity without being scared of having to quickly learn something new. Capability to quickly build good relationships of cooperation, reciprocal help and trust with various internal and external stakeholders of different cultural background. Energetic and energizing (able to motivate him/herself and to motivate others). Commercial background (always preferred).
