Flavour Solutions Supply Planner
Overview
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Development, planning and implementation of the supply plan to meet finished good demand at optimized TDC Develop production (rough cut) & inventory plans to meet finished goods demand via internal & co-pack operations network Evaluate slow moving materials and excess inventories and recommend and implement corrective action plans Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with customer service, sales planning, marketing, operations and the customers as appropriate Serves as the Supply Chain lead on cross-functional customer/business teams charged with business development, operational excellence and capacity development Proactively participate and engage in driving supply planning execution of new business opportunities, including new products and product discontinuations Identify, develop and drive continuous & process improvement initiatives within Supply Planning accountability CANDIDATE PROFILE A degree in a relevant field is considered as an asset Broad experience from Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Operations Experience in FMCG Experience in Customer facing Demonstrated ability to analyse, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issues Demonstrated ability to manage projects and/or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using honed influencing & leadership skills required Strong communication and organization skills Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and ERP (ex: SAP), ECC, APO Ability to work in fast-paced environment as well as to meet tight deadlines Good-to-advanced level of understanding of concepts and principles in Supply Planning and working knowledge of these elements in other areas including other Supply Chain sub-functions, Operations, Sourcing & Sales Working · Self-management, pro-activity and coordination skills are required COMPANY At McCormick, we bring our passion for flavor to work each day.
