Overview
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to work with our clients Transport Department based out of our Tottenham Depot as a HGV Class 2 driver. These are dedicated driving and delivery positions, the applicants must have a C Class Driving Licence, with no endorsement points. You do not need to have previous experience as you will be given a driving assessment. The key responsibilities will be delivering fragile equipment to time specific schedules to different locations, returning/collecting items to and from their suppliers, transferring equipment between the warehouses and locations. You will also be expected to keep the depot vehicles refuelled, maintained and clean. We are looking for well presented, polite and client focused individuals. You must be able to work effectively, reliably, unsupervised and be physically fit/strong as the role involves lifting, including loading and unloading of fragile equipment. The individuals must have good communication skills and be willing to embrace the high standards that our client expects. A willingness also to work overtime as and when it is necessary is required. The roles are permanent positions working 40 hours per week, working an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday and every 4th weekend, with an hour for lunch. The shift pattern is between the hours of 5.00am start or Midday start. However, start times may be adjusted slightly dependent on the needs of the business.
