Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a qa specialist / qa manager / quality systems manager to join one of the Worlds biggest food manufacturers Are you a qa specialist / quality systems manager with experience in the food manufacturing industry? If you are we really want to talk to you about this opportunity Our client is a huge name in the food manufacturing industry. They manufacture some of the most recognised products in their category and this is down to their first class quality and technical team. As Qa specialist / qa manager / quality systems manager you will be responsible for the integration of Quality Assurance systems and processes within the plant. This role is instrumental in driving quality improvements across site. Direct involvement in the implementation of customer and BRC standards as well as accompanying (customer) audits, visits, developing and giving training, and supporting activities for the technical manager. Other responsibilities include: Manage and lead the sites HACCP & TACCP team. Conduct Risk assessments, and agree relevant action plans, including for allergens. Conduct Technical inductions and annual refresher training for all site staff. Manage held stock. Manage team , and ensure they are utilised in the best way, work to the right standards and have a development / stretch plan in place. Manage the site CAPA list, root cause analysis and CAPA meetings. Including close out of external audits. Conduct mock recalls. Drive QMS improvements where necessary, and ensure that any improvements are fully implemented in the factory. This role is a unique one that requires a candidate of the highest level to make sure the standards in this brilliant business continue to be driven and improved on. You must have a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory QA / Quality role in the food manufacturing industry.
