CSV Engineer Chippenham £30,000 - £35,000 per annum My client who is a Global leader within their field is looking for a CSV Engineer/Computer Systems Validation Engineer for their offices based in Chippenham. They are looking for a highly organised Computer Systems Validation Engineer, who can communicate with individuals at all levels. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of the computerised system validation life cycle - primarily for Analytical Instruments but including any software used for GxP work. This will include assessing computerised systems for compliance with applicable regulations, determining how to configure systems to meet business and regulatory requirements, preparation of validation documentation and supporting those performing the testing. You will be supported by a more experienced engineer to develop in all aspects of the role, and you will work closely with several groups and functions - including Operations, Information Technology and Quality Assurance - to ensure systems are validated and operated in accordance with company procedures. This role will also include administration of some of their systems. Responsibilities Support the validation and operational management of analytical equipment, specialising in computer and control systems validation, as appropriate Author and review Validation Documentation to ensure validation activities are built into project plans to give compliance with company and regulatory validation standards Challenge ways of working and propose innovative strategies that deliver improvement while maintaining to the appropriate validation standards Run standard validation processes and support roll out and adherence to these standard validation processes in order to deliver consistency and agility with cost benefits Provide the necessary support, as required, for system owners and users To be aware of changes in legislation relevant to computerised systems validation You will be providing a service to the GxP teams within Health Science and Innovation (HS&I), performing or supporting all of the tasks involved in CSV Candidate specification You will be working closely with the QA and IT validation specialists; so excellent people and collaborative skills will be required Ideally you will have experience in the use of GCMS and HPLC; however this is not essential as full training will be provided Good project and time management skills will be important to ensure all aspects of CSV project work is kept on track A 'can-do’ proactive attitude with a willingness to expand your knowledge base A real problem solver with the ability to work as part of a team or individually
