Do you have experience working in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a counterbalance flt licence? Stores Controller Permanent Bilston £22,000 to £24,000 p/a Our client is a leading manufacturer of Furniture who has years of experience in crafting the best products, suitable for every type of home. Within 25 years, the brand has acquired a reliable and extensive network of retailers for the UK and Ireland. The furniture is sturdy, beautifully designed and made to suit UK homes. They are looking for an organised stores controller to work within the production department . You will be accountable to the operations manager. The successful candidate would be someone who can take a methodical approach to all of their duties. You will be keeping check and control of any incoming purchases and will need to be able to work in isolation as well as being hands on and working in a team. Responsibilities: Receive and check all incoming purchases as ordered for quantity and quality. Book in all received stock Ensure all paperwork is accurate and processed in a timely manner Organise and maintain stock levels Logging all stock movements Replenishing assembly lines and production areas with materials required Carry out weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual stock-takes, in line with company policy Liaise with the purchasing department to replenish stock etc Ensure goods are stored in a safe and accurate manner, rotating where necessary General stores duties including and maintaining of a clean tidy and safe work area to the 5S standards Carrying out other duties within the business as and when required. Requirements: Must have at least 2 years' experience working within a fast-paced stores environment, ideally within manufacturing Counterbalance FLT licence IT literate Be able to think on the move People Person Flexible approach to working arrangements Ideal Fit to the role Worked in an engineering feed to line manufacturing business Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm Benefits: Life Assurance Cash back health scheme Onsite parking 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
