Overview
Huxton Resourcing ltd are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support our client within the Stourbridge / Dudley area. Our client provides innovative and experiential education for children, young people and adults with special learning needs. We are looking for the right people to join our team to provide safe and constructive residential placements to young people with a wide range of complex learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties. • You will have ability to work primarily during evenings including weekends and undertake sleepovers where required. • You will need an empathetic approach to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment and be able to relate positively to young people. • You will have good verbal and written communication skills, along with enthusiasm, insight and creativity. • A minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent qualification is desirable along with work experience in related areas. • Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable as some of our Team Houses are located in more rural settings.
