Overview
Stock Controller, £30,000 per annum 0700 –1600, Monday to Friday Expanding manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Thetford Job Description Oversee operation of automated weighbridge Inspect and sign material delivery tickets to be filed accordingly Maintenance of stock keeping system and the accurate logging of material deliveries system Liaise with production personnel to ensure smooth delivery of materials Work in conjunction with the production manager, Quality Advisor, SHEQ manager, and transport departments Maintain own records and spreadsheets to keep checks on suppliers Execute stock takes and investigate discrepancies Contribute to the development of innovative ideas, products or services that ultimately enhance the company’s performance Improve efficiency of stock layout, and material monitoring Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by management Ideal Candidate Skills Disciplined and authoritative Proficient skills with MS Office/ IT literacy.
