Food Delivery Driver, Rotherham

Food Industry Delivery Driver Located in Rotherham, S66. This position is with a local company that prepare and distribute kebabs and other foods. The position would include the preparation, picking and packing of the products and delivering to client premises. The benefits include: Temporary to Permanent for the right candidate Break room Guaranteed ongoing hours Free parking The duties included in the role are as follows:- Loading and unloading food product into mixers where they add the spices etc. Weigh the meat into portions and bag it up to either put in the fridge or blast freezer. The bags of meat are large and there may be heavy lifting involved Delivering orders to customers in a 3.5 ton van. Experience required: Experience of working within a food environment would be advantageous Must hold a full Driving License with a minimum of 3 years driving experience Experience of driving 3.5t vehicle an advantage Prepared to undergo a Driving License check with the DVLA The pay rate is £8.21 per hour. The hours of work are: Monday to Friday – Shifts vary between the hours of 5am and 6pm.
