Overview

Test Lead (Manual & Automated): MUST have been responsible for delivering in-house testing function from scratch. MUST have Python or Java and IDEALLY offer experience testing Front & Back End tech in a complex Cloud (GCP and / or AWS) environment. We are looking for top talent to join our newly formed Digital Technology team, based in a Barnet HQ. The positions are open to A-team players who want to drive and excel at the forefront of Data, Digital and Technology Manual and Automated testing experience of Web, App and APIs - seasoned tester must know how to write and execute test use cases and stories. Must be a dynamic and driven personality Modern tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, etc) with Jira / Confluence and CI/CD pipelines (Cloud background preferred). Must know how to set up test harnesses / ecosystem from scratch (must have done so at least once in a complex environment). General Background Strongly prefer at least a partial blue-chip background; ideally technology-first companies like social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, etc.), Digital disrupters (Deliveroo, Uber, Eventbrite, Babylon, etc.), mobile telcos, challenger banks, etc. - with a structured and analytical (but not theoretical) approach to problem-solving. Education: STEM Bachelor's degree required (ideally from redbrick/Russell Group) Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Development skills: A clear understanding of both business and technical deliverables, processes, work, products and differing viewpoints Excellent analysis skills Good organisational and time management skills to meet project deadlines Clear and concise reporting skills Problem solving skills Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Effectively communicate progress/status to the project leader or client Listens effectively to gain valuable information and understanding Ability to explain technical matters to non-technical people Experience: Minimum 5 years of test analyst experience Qualifications: ISEB/ISTQB testing foundation accreditation Educated to degree level
