Test Engineer - Automation - London Location: London (Liverpool Street) Package: Negotiable but in the range of £45-55k with extensive benefits. This is a customer we have worked with since their conception 12 years ago and it's been fascinating to watch their growth as they continue to maintain a market leading position within their sector in the UK, alongside blazing a trial in the USA from their New York City base. and soon to be opened California offices. The objective is to remove complexity around IT and monetise services faster, to simplify booking, buying and billing of services. Enabling self-service and automation, there is so much planned including re-platforming. Who are you? A Test Engineer who can develop and executing test plans for all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression) to ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements, someone who wants a an emphasis on automated testing. You can Isolate, replicate and report defects and verify defect fixes, ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process. Essential experience. You will have significant experience and demonstrable successes in technical and business testing of applications on a diverse range of platforms including iOS, Android, Windows and AWS / Serverless. JavaScript or Java coding experience is required. 12-18 months automation experience reqiured Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables is essential. An ability to identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plans is essential. You willevelop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artefacts like test data and data validation requirements is essential. Experience in holding and facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members is essential. Experience of using test management tools is essential Highly effective analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving and communications skills are essential.
