Overview
Are you looking to join a small but growing business as an engineer/lathe operator? Are you a mechanically orientated individual with a background in engineering/maintenance with experience of running manual lathes? Kingscroft are looking for an experienced lathe operator with at least five years experience in the field. The job role consists of the following: . Turning work on manual lathes. . Fabrication including MIG or Arc Welding and using a plasma cutter. . General maintenance work including checking and repairing a variety of machines in a factory environment. . Use of a fork lift or stacker truck (Full training can be given) . Working within an established Quality System, which includes recording timings for work done and conducting work according to written procedures. . Occasional driving to customers or suppliers using company vehicles. Minimum 39 hours per week occasional overtime. Salary paid fortnightly in arrears. Holidays 20 days per year increasing to 23 days after 5 years service, plus bank holidays. General shutdown over Christmas. Pay will be very competitive, negotiable and dependent on experience.
