Overview
The Role: Are you a sales driven individual with the ability to lead a team of Internal Telephone Account Managers / Sales Executives? Our client are an innovative and nationally represented Insurance Group looking to recruit a Team Manager to lead and drive sales performance through an established internal Telephone Account Management team. The Job/Duties Manage and lead a team of internal sales / account managers to drive sales performance through their individual broker panels. Set KPI and performance measures to drive individual sales performance. Coach and train team members to improve sales/account management performance. Manage and maintain a number of key broker relationships, and be the focal point for leading all sales based campaigns. Enhance the company’s standing and presence establishing and maintaining strong personal relationships with key directors and staff at the region’s most important brokers. Lead and direct the team when delivering sales campaigns as instructed by the business. Work collaboratively with other parts of the organisation, to ensure a first class service to all brokers and partners. Long terms career prospects are significant, with the intention being this position will lead into a full Business Development Manager’s role which is an external role, including company car, significant salary up lift and bonus. The Benefits: A basic salary of up to £33,000 plus an exceptional bonus and benefits package, combined with an unprecedented opportunity for career growth. The Person: Team leadership management experience. You will already have a track record of internal sales leadership ideally from an insurance environment. Ideally you will have some insurance experience, either from personal lines insurance or commercial insurance experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
