Overview

Part-Time 22.5 hours per week - 12 month Maternity Cover About the role Main Duties and Responsibilities Support the Production Manager with ad-hoc reporting and projects as and when required. Setting up new products (cost/retail/product description/barcodes etc.) on the system. Submit new season initial requirements sheet (quantities), with phased buy (deliveries), size breakdowns, new season top up (rebuy) orders to suppliers. Raise PO's for bulk production and raw materials as instructed, communicating requirements to suppliers in a clear and concise manner. Create and processing Marketing Sample purchase orders and delivery tracking. Order Confirmation checking, including cancellations, price changes and amendments to orders. Raising products barcode information and approval for suppliers. Assist Production Manager in checking all bulk production invoices before shipments. Ensure that suppliers are aware of the critical path dates so that bulk production is delivered according to the seasonal calendar. Review production calendars from vendors each week and ensure production is running smoothly, ex-factory dates are being met, and problem solve any issues. Monitor on time delivery from suppliers and vendors. Overseeing Production WIP Reports, negotiate, review and track key production dates. Track and manage the goods from supplier to warehouse and reporting on each of the critical milestones. Work with the Product Team in order to ensure bulk production is on track and inform any change or delay on delivery dates to relevant internal departments. Liaise closely with Merchandising team to ensure that all reorders are placed promptly and key dates added to the delivery schedule. Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery shortages and obtaining appropriate credits where applicable. Managing the weekly tracker on purchase orders which are open or on back-order and closing outstanding PO's based o delivered records. Ensure that suppliers' communication is carried out in a clear and timely manner to ensure production is running smoothly. Assist Production Manager in reviewing costs involved with shipping by liaising with Freight agents/suppliers to co-ordinate shipping of the product in the most effective way. Review and maintain daily shipping documentations and liaise with warehouse and freight-forwarder. Maintaining and update HS Code List (Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System) Who are we looking for?
