This local business provides a total plastics manufacturing solution from design through to delivery . To ensure products meet the customers high, exacting standards, they are looking to add a Production Engineer to their team. If you have experience within the plastics industry, have experience of lean manufacturing and a salary of up to £35,000 plus a great working environment appeals to you, get in touch. About the Job: You’ll be managing the technical sampling side of the production process, duties will include: Ensuring the sampling process is undertaken within a systematic, timely Overseeing and supporting production changes, tool changes, automation, robotics and machine troubleshooting Ensuring the machines are operated at an acceptable standard Delivering the agreed sampling targets Monitoring and appraising job results and process development Undertake staff coaching and mentoring, enforcing systems, policies and procedures About You: You’ll already be working with a plastics / injection moulding environment, you’ll also need: Knowledge of toolmaking, design and construction Automation and robotics Excellent problem-solving skills Able to work under pressure Process focused with an understanding of continuous improvement to sustainable levels Quality systems knowledge with the ability to work on developments and improvements Able to communicate effectively at all levels Computer literate What are the pay and benefits? Working days, you can expect a salary of up to £35,000 together with parking, pension and excellent working conditions. Holidays are 26 days plus bank holidays. What to do next?
