Overview
Scheduler - Felling We are recruiting for a Scheduler to work in Manufacturing for one of our clients based in Felling Gateshead. £27K Day Shift 6 Month Contract Main Purpose Schedules production with a high level of understanding of the trade-offs between service, forecast error, stock and manufacturing costs. Assigning an appropriate number of workers to the jobs during each day of working and determining when an activity should start or end. Job Description Takes care of order acceptance entry and selection, while communicating with planning and production. Performs and oversees administrative tasks related to orders, receipts and shipments conform procedures. Prepares and monitors the order fulfilment and delivery process and anticipates on eventual disruptions. Provides practical solutions to resolve issues. Calculates transport volumes and assesses whether special measures should be taken. Calls-off transport modalities. Takes care of returns, questions and customer complaints following procedures as per agreed guidelines. Takes care of raw material call off activities where applicable. Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and lab policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards. Works closely with Production to ensure batches are scheduled to fill in the most efficient order to achieve OTIF targets.
