Industrial Sewing Machinist

We are currently recruiting on behalf on a company who is looking for an industrial sewing machinist, with previous experience of using twin needle, single stitch and over locker. This is a temp-perm position and the client will be able to offer further training on other machinery to ensure that you are able to progress within the company in the future. Interviews : ASAP Duration: Temporary to Permanent Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm Hourly Rate: £9.00 an hour holiday pay Duties will include: Cut all finishing jobs and carry out sewing on an industrial sewing machine Prepare mast bands, eyelets and sleeves as required Final finishing’s of flags, banners, pop ups and PVC Bunting Ensuring that everything is completed to required standards As required help the production team with finishing roller banners Working to tight deadlines and helping in other departments as and when required Always follow strict health and safety regulations Skills and Experience Required: Experience using an industrial sewing machine Ability to work on your own and as part of a team Ability to communicate at all levels Accuracy and attention to detail Carrying out strict instructions to ensure standards are met If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
