We are opening a new restaurant in Sutton and are looking for hardworking, flexible individuals to join our team. Training programme provided. Coming October. Bar Block is an informal, all-day dining restaurant with a large open kitchen and spectacular central bar. Our particular passion is high quality steaks, hand cut to order. And if you’re keen to build a career as a chef, this is a perfect place to start. You’ll assist the chef in all kinds of ways. You will help to prepare, cook and present food to the highest standards, on time, every time. Taking particular responsibility for starters and desserts, you’ll create a fantastic first impression and make sure each meal ends on a high. You will also take great pride in washing up and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean. In return, we’ll provide excellent training. You don’t need previous experience to join us in this role. It’s all about what you can bring as a person. You’ll bring high standards - that means keen attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and improving all the time. You’re very organised and always ready for a challenge. So, you’ll happily adapt when things get busy, to make sure our food is always tasty, safe and well-presented.
