Assembly Fitter

PS Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Assembly Fitter to join their team based in Norwich on a full time permanent basis. Duties & Responsibilities: Assemble/Fit components guided by technical drawings, 3DVia instructions and R&S within defined time limits. To adjust with the use of non CNC mills or lathes when needed components to fit and produce quality mechanical assemblies. To test and if needed to correct the mechanical assemblies. Maintain safe working practices and high standard of housekeeping. Constantly advise the Cell Leader on potential alterations to reduce cost and lead times and improve quality. Assist in improving methods and productivity. Assist with other duties within the cell. Work effectively as part of a team. Measurements: Correct parts completion of scheduled work on time as per drawing. Lack of corrective work interrupting the production stream. Lack of corrective work interrupting the production stream. Organisation and discipline. Contribution to CI and H&S practices. Creation of CI plaques, improvement of KPI’s and a reduced number of NCR’s Compatibilities with cell colleagues and others. Levels of productivity. Levels of self-motivation.
