Overview

Pathway Leaving Care Services is a support provider working with young people aged 15 to 19 in residential and community-based accommodation. We offer tailor-made support packages based on individual needs. We are looking for a Bank Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our service in Wigan. A car owner/driver with business insurance is desirable but not essential for this role due to the needs of the service. As a senior support worker/wellbeing co-ordinator, you will be providing emotional and practical support to assist the transition to independence through individual support planning. We require applicants with the ability to use basic Microsoft Word & Excel documents confidently plus good written and verbal communication. NVQ Level 3 in Social Care is preferred; alternately a willingness to work towards this qualification is desirable. The role includes lone working, supported by an On-Call system which is accessible 24 hours a day. Shifts are based on a rolling rota which includes sleep-ins. Remuneration includes: £8.50 to £9.00 ph - Depending on qualifications £45 Sleep-in Allowance (Average of 8 Sleeps PCM) Annual Leave: 210 Hours (218 After 1 years’ service) Training: Comprehensive package including Diplomas, eLearning and classroom-based courses.
