The SQL Analyst will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management information to produce and design reports by drawing on complex data from the software system/ data warehouse. Using SQL server analysis, reporting and integration services, this role will engage with the business to understand how they want to use the data, provide effective data analysis and ensure end users utilise the reports to their full potential You will Produce both regular and ad hoc reports using SQL server stored procedures Ensure delivery of reporting is timely and accurate Understand the in-house data model as it evolves Skills and Experience Essential SQL DBA Experience/troubleshooting and resolving database problems. Proficient use of SQL and experience writing complex SQL Server programming object Knowledge and experience of logical and physical database architecture and schema design Ability to work closely with the business to understand requirements and craft solutions Capable of producing high standards of work, to tight deadlines Excellent Interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively within a team A natural problem solver, remaining calm under pressure to manage conflicting demands Desirable Experience in database consolidation, migration activities, backups, restores and recovery models. Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts. Experience with SQL Clustering.
