Overview
Due to organic growth, my client, a reputable and long-standing Accountancy and Financial Services organisation, is looking to enhance its Support Team with the appointment of a Paraplanner. Our client is highly regarded within the North West market, having established a large and loyal client bank, encompassing an array of expertise through a highly successful team of Chartered Accountants and Financial Advisors. In this position you will be responsible for the paraplanning function of the regulated advice arm of this Chartered Accountants. You will be supporting the Director with their workload, who have a very well-established client base of high net worth individuals. It will be your responsibility to manage the existing paraplanning function, ensuring, among other things, that reviews are completed in a timely and compliant manner. You will also be responsible for all suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, VCT’s and IHT, as well as cash flow modelling. You must be technically minded with a keen eye for detail. In addition, you must also possess a strong understanding of pension and investment products, as well as having a good general knowledge of the financial market. It is also preferred that you hold the Level 4 Diploma qualification and ideally you will be Chartered, or close to achieving this, though demonstrable working knowledge is more important than qualifications. Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload are paramount, as is the ability to manage relationships and expectations at all levels.
