QUALITY ASSOCIATE Location: Oxford Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience plus full benefits package THE COMPANY Our client, a growing business in Gene Therapy, utilising state of the art technology, is an exciting place to work Based in Modern offices and laboratories, they actively promote promotion from within and have a clear set of company values. They are currently looking to strengthen their Quality function with the appointment of a Quality Associate to be based at their Oxford Headquarters, reporting to the Quality Manager. THE ROLE As the Quality Associate, responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Supporting the Quality Manager by ensuring the introduction and compliance of established quality standards across all ongoing activities Performing internal audits to support the maintenance and effectiveness of the Quality Management system Management of nonconformities and corrective actions; provide input into investigation and implementation Conducting formal staff training on quality related procedures Maintenance of the document control system to ensure changes to processes and systems are appropriately assessed and implemented Maintaining and developing the company quality systems, records, logs and databases as required Providing input into strategies for continual improvement and actively contribute to their implementation Other appropriate duties as required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS BSc in a relevant discipline, with relevant work experience in a life sciences laboratory environment Experience working to ISO 9001 standards and knowledge gained in a working environment. Experience in working with SOP documentation, Quality Management systems and GMP/GLP standards Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Confident personality with highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Presentation skills applied to formal training environment Experience in coordinating stakeholder groups to achieve set objectives Ability to effectively plan and manage workload in order to fully meet individual and departmental objectives.
