SOFTWARE ENGINEER £60,000- 75,000 BONUS COMPETITIVE BENEFITS CENTRAL LONDON Are you looking for your next opportunity as a Java Software Engineer where you will be working on a middleware mobile platform with over 7 million logins per day? THE COMPANY: As one of the largest financial companies in the UK you will have be impacting millions of customers through your work THE ROLE: You will be working as a Java developer to continue building out the functionalities of the platform which is AWS based and connecting it to new business areas. You will be working in an immediate team of 20 engineers and wider team of 100 so the work you will be doing is very complex and high impact. In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following: Write clean and well-structured code in Java. Follow Devops and CI/CD practices across your day to day work. Designing and developing libraries and applications which will be used across the wider business. Work across a range of exciting technologies such as Java, AWS and microservices. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Senior Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in developing Java, preferably on a cloud platform. Have an understanding and respect for the importance of architecture, infrastructure and DevOps to development teams. An appreciation for the importance of unit testing and continuous integration.
