Overview
Duties: You will be required pick orders in a busy warehouse on llop trucks, orders will come through using the JDA headset system. You may also be required to carry out some manual handling involving loading and unloading of containers. You will be required to adhere to Health and Safety legislations at all times. Experience required: no experience required as full training is given. Training/Qualifications required: No particular qualifications are required. Full training will be given on your first two days. Length of Contract: This is ongoing work with a view to going permanent following a successful 12 week probationary period. Hours of work/Overtime: This is rotation shift Monday to Friday with one week start 6am and finish at 2pm and next week start at 2pm and finish at 10pm. Overtime is paid after 37.5h. Standard Hours are based on a full working week. This is not guaranteed as you are only paid for the actual workings hours confirmed on your timesheet. Health & Safety Assessments: Health & Safety Assessments: Full onsite induction given; this will include: manual handling training, Fork lift trucks are present in the warehouse and operated 24 hours a day. There is a large yard where HGVs are operational 24 hours a day. Protective Work Wear: Boots and Hi Vis Facilities Onsite: Canteen, Staff Common Room, Car Parking, Toilet / Shower facilities, Waiting room Payment Terms: Weekly Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annum
