Fintech currently seeks a Product Manager / Technical Product Owner to play a core role in the gradual productisation of a Natural Language Processing system to be deployed for use within the financial services and insurance markets. The Product Manager / Technical Product Owner will join a small team of developers, architects and technology specialists who have been working on an Artificial Intelligence project which will ultimately deliver a Natural Language Processing / Machine Learning system which may utilise aspects of Chatbot technology. This project is at a reasonably early stage and as such the Product Manager / Technical Product Owner will play a key role in the system's definition, functionality and delivery to market. You will be required to communicate to stakeholders how their requirements will impact the design of the solution and steer them away complexity to ensure the business's core roadmap is maintained. You will create and maintain the roadmap, update the user stories that accurately reflect the end user client requirements, contain relevant wireframes and technical details for the development team and manage the backlog of tickets in Jira and Confluence. You will work with the Agile Project Managers to assist with Sprint planning. You will oversee the modification of designs with the technical teams as required and update the stories appropriately, creating Wireframes, liaise with internal and external clients, set UAT criteria between client and the testing team and sign off. Working within an Agile/Scrum environment you will play a key role in all Scrum ceremonies. You will also liaise with 3rd party service providers and work to understand integration issues and changes required to API development inhouse to enable integration. We are searching for a Technical Product Owner / Product Manager / Business Analyst who has gained significant experience in stakeholder engagement (both inhouse and external clients) to elicit requirements, creating documentation as required and been heavily involved with the Agile / Scrum ceremonies. Any experience of taking products (of any technical nature, SaaS, APIs etc) to market would be highly beneficial. Ideally, you will be very close to the tech and preferably have come from an environment which has been utilising / experimenting / researching Artificial Intelligence tech with a view to creating an NLP / ML solution to be used in corporate environments. Ideally this will have been within a product focussed company, Fintech or corporate environment but academic environment experience can also be considered. You will have worked as a Product Owner / Lead Product Owner within Agile/Scrum environments where your activities will have played a key role in the definition, creation and maintenance of a Product Road Map as well as playing an important role in the Sprint Planning process amongst other Scrum ceremonies. You will be comfortable managing the backlog of Jira tickets, creating Wireframes as well as setting UAT criteria for testing. Ultimately you will be able to champion a vision for the product and convey this in line with strategy to both internal technical teams and further down the line: external customers. Experience in financial services, digital delivery and startup technology environments highly valuable although we are able to consider experience from a broad range of technological environments. This is an excellent opportunity at a time of expansion and growth with a global Fintech which has a stable corporate backbone. Exceptional benefits, bonus remuneration and flexible working practices. Ideal City of London location.
