Overview
Our established software client have a brand-new exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join their small and friendly team on a permanent basis, in their new offices based in Bristol – situated very close to Temple Meads. The role will contribute to the full life-cycle development and maintenance of the company’s products involving technologies across web, server and cloud. This is an office-based role, as the company support customers electronically, no site visits required Key Responsibilities; - Work on the development for and maintenance of products - Write unit and integration tests - Document features, scenarios and user support articles as required - Track and manage all tasks through the issue tracker - Resolve escalated problems is the issue tracker in a timely manner Candidate Attributes; - A relevant computing degree - Good knowledge of networking fundamentals - Strong problem solving, debugging and investigative skills - Good OO design skills - HTML - Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Java/JavaScript Hours; Monday - Friday 08:30 – 17:00 Salary; £40,000 - £50,000 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89392624
