Overview
Are you an Accounts Semi Senior / Trainee Accountant with one to two years experience (or more) in bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation, looking to join a small yet growing accountancy practice firm based in Edgware / North West London where you can continue with your training and development? Are you also looking to finish your AAT or ACCA studies? Are you keen to gain exposure to a wide range of clients, both local and Central London based, from a wide variety of sectors? If so, this growing accountancy firm which is part of a larger group, is looking to recruit a new Accounts Semi Senior into their growing team. Your role will be varied and will include being trained so that you can carry out general bookkeeping duties, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and be trained so you can also prepare statutory accounts and tax returns. You will also be responsible for ad hoc projects, including various reports, analysis and business management assignments for a wide range of interesting and high profile clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a small yet well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future, including being trained so you can start to prepare statutory accounts and tax returns for clients. To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be studying the AAT or ACCA. You must have at least one to two years experience of the above duties in an accountancy practice firm. You must also live within easy commuting distance of Edgware / North West London. Ideally you will have experience of Xero and Quickbooks Online. You must be confident, outgoing, a team player and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must be looking to upgrade to a growing practice where you can continue with your accountancy career.
