HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic Alecto Recruitment are recruiting for a reputable heavy goods vehicle repair company who are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic in the Portsmouth area. Our client is a forefront commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the area, who are offering competitive salaries and unrivalled training opportunities for all HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic 's that join their team. The ideal HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic will be apprentice trained and hold a City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, along with experience of working as a HGV Technician within a fast paced workshop environment. The Role: Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs on a wide range of PSV's to VOSA standard Complete call outs and roadside repairs when necessary Complete work loads within the timeframe given to customers Carry out a wide range of electrical defect repairs Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers computer systems and tooling This is a full time, permanent position paying up to £15.00 per hour 1.5x overtime rate and additional company benefits.
