Day to day, the successful candidate will be performing a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the company’s machinery. You’ll be attending breakdowns, removing faulty parts and then fitting new ones along with very occasional administration duties are key elements of this role. Working on saws, edge banding machines, drills and packing lines, you will be expected to work on all elements of mechanical issues with a self-driven approach to work. The Role: Attending break downs on saws, edge banding machines, drills and pack lines Maintain clean working area Liaise closely with management and other departments Shift - 1 week 6am to 2pm, week 2 2pm to 10pm and week 3 9pm to 7am (week you only work 4 days as opposed to 5) The Person: Mechanical fitting/maintenance skills Willing to work shifts NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, ideally mechanical
