Location: The Nook - Colne, East Lancashire Job title : Residential Support Worker (RSW) Salary: £23,900 - £25,700 (Including 8 'sleepins’ per month) Hours: 37 hours plus sleeps Closing date: 13/04/2020 The salary quoted above is including 8 sleep in shifts per month, paid at a rate of £45 per sleep. Hexagon Care Services are seeking to appoint a Residential Support Worker for an established children’s home in Colne. This Children's home is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Burnley, Accrington, Blackburn and other parts of East Lancashire and areas with access to the M65. This children’s residential has a strong and supportive senior management team. As a Residential Support Worker you will have the following: The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care Lead, demonstrate, and share best practice to other practitioners in your home. In addition to working closely alongside Psychologists and our specialist therapeutic services team. The characteristics and personality to handle challenging behaviour effectively and professionally Shift work including weekends, evenings & sleep in duties Full driving license is desirable but not essential If qualififed; a Diploma Level 3 (Children’s residential/Young people workforce or equivalent accredited qualification) If unqualified - we will provide training for your qualification, free of charge.
