Overview

Our client are leaders in innovative technology solutions in the Offshore Renewables Energy Sector who are looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to join their Test and Validation Engineering Team on a temporary 6 month contract. Job Role ·Manage the instrumentation and calibration requirements within the facilities to ensure testing processes meet customer requirements and accreditation standards ·Responsibility of the setup of test pieces and supporting equipment/systems within the facility and onsite are to the required standards ·Provide instrumentation, data logging and data analysis skills as necessary to the commercial operations and preparation/evaluation, budget preparation/review and customer and supplier interface ·Creation if technical test reports following collation of electronic data and associated data analysis. ·Improve processes and systems and proactively create them where they are needed operating inline with industry good practice Skills/Experience ·Educated to degree level or a relevant discipline ·Experience of specification, installation and testing/fault finding instrumentations including CT’S, VT’s strain gauges, load cells, temperature sensors and accelerometers ·Knowledge of National Instruments data acquisition equipment and Diadem, Labview software packages. ·Good knowledge of MS Office Software ·Good understanding and awareness of current H & S legislation ·Experience of working in OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO9001, ISO 17025 environments
