Are you looking for a broad ranging Financial Controller role? Reporting directly to the Finance Director of this market leading retail services business, this is an excellent opportunity for a high performing and commercially minded Financial Controller to join the team in what will be a high profile newly created role. About the role This organisation is the largest of its kind in the UK, with a workforce well in excess of 500, impressive profit and progression plans. This is an ideal first or second time move from a large practice, an all round divisional Financial Controller role with both technical and commercial responsibilities. This role will naturally have high visibility across the entire business. It is expected that the role will grow, develop and lead to progression in the future. Key responsibilities Overall management of the finance function on a day-today basis Leadership, coaching and development of a small finance team Improve and develop financial process, information and value-add across the business Execute wider finance strategy collaborating closely with FD, CFO and senior leadership team Manage audit relationship Development and delivery of excellent board level reporting Person profile ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified First or second time move from a larger practice will be preferred due to skillset desired Excellent commercial, communication and technical skills Leadership ability Experienced gained with consumer facing businesses or audit clients is desirable Package £45,000-£50,000, car allowance, bonus, 25 days hol
