Procurement Specialist

Home Based Interim Procurement Specialist £300 - £350 p/day 3-6 month assignment I’m interested to talk with experienced Procurement contractors who are available at short notice for an assignment projected to last 3-6 months. Both the interview process and role will be remotely based, and so open to candidates across the UK with no need for travel. Your role will be to support the Procurement Director in delivering the company’s procurement strategy to clients based across the UK. You will work with clients to deliver tendering advice and spend analysis reviews including audits of current spends to evaluate existing contracts and suppliers and where improvements can be recommended. You will have extensive tendering experience as well as a knowledge and an understanding of EU/OJEU procurement legislation and contract law. Experience of working within a School Business Professional environment is desirable as well as the ability to provide high quality progress reports as well as presentations.
