Financial Controller - Biggleswade - £55,000 - £65,000 bonus benefits Are you an experienced Financial Controller who is seeking autonomy and role where you can take ownership of the finance function? Are you keen to see the impact your role has within the business? If so, then this could be an ideal opportunity for you. You will be working for an established, well respected business that is a specialist in its field. Working closely with the senior leadership team and being pivotal in driving business change and performance. Supporting a driven, commercially astute MD, as well as working with other key business stakeholders across the organisation. As many of these contacts operate outside of the finance function, effective communication and an ability to 'translate’ financial information is key. You will be mentoring and developing a small finance team as well as ensuring that monthly deliverables are met. The hands-on involvements includes managing all aspects of accounting and compliance, including the preparation of financial and management accounts, payroll, VAT, bank reconciliations and cash flow management. Your role will also have a project focus as there is a constant need to identify opportunities for process and procedural improvements and to improve I.T. systems. About You: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Previous experience working within a SME Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient I.T. skills including Excel Is this you?
