Position Summary Magellan Aerospace, Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant Full Time Permanent Contract 39 hours per week. Job location: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB. Carry out financial reporting to meet Head Office requirements. Produce monthly management accounts and forecasts in a timely manner. Detailed variance analysis including presentation to management Produce annual accounts for external audit Assistance in Budget prepeation Recomendations for profit improvement Produce monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations Review and maintain nominal ledger chart of accounting coding Maintain Fixed Assets Register Process staff expenses request Preparation of supporting schedules for the liason with external and internal auditors Develop system generated reports Attend Management Meetings Position Requirements Academic: Advandced level or degree standard Professional Accreditations: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) Experience: Within a manufacturing environment Supervisory experience Key Competencies: IT proficient with advanced excel skills and experience of integrated computer systems (preferably SAP) Other Skills/ Abilities/ Personal Attributes: Up to date knowledge of accounting standards Analytically minded, with the ability to multitask Pleasant nature, able to work under pressure About us: Magellan Aerospace is a global, integrated aerospace company that provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, defence and space agencies worldwide.
