Overview
Due to recent expansion, Oliver Agriculture Ltd have an immediate opportunity for a Temporary Credit Controller to join this well-established and highly reputable organisation for a period of 6 months. Working as part of an established Finance team, this role will manage an effective debt collection process to expediate payment of overdue invoices, reduce debt exposure and bad debt. Temporary Credit Controller - Job Overview Chase debt by telephone, email and letter To maintain customer records in relation to the debt collection process To establish and maintain excellent communication and working relationships with customers, management and colleagues To deal with queries and potential problems/issues sensitively and assertively To be able to solve issues and problems on own initiative To organise and plan own workload in order to meet deadlines Temporary Credit Controller-Required Skills and Experience Excellent and confident telephone manner Strong negotiating skills Previous debt/credit control experience is essential for this role Have a flexible, pro-active and creative approach The ability to work to strict guidelines and targets and cope under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Work well as a team member and act on own initiative when appropriate Excellent user of IT packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet Training will be provided on our company system, IBCOS Gold Car owner / driver due to the location of the business Temporary Credit Controller-Benefits Offered £10.00ph - £13.00ph dependent upon experience Holiday Pay Temporary contract with immediate start Flexible Part-time hours - 22.5 hours per week Monthly Pay Free onsite parking
