Overview
This is a chance to join one of the world’s leading providers of supply chain solutions in association with the aerospace and aviation sectors. We are seeking a Bid/ Commercial Manager to join a growing team on a permanent basis. This company is a leader in their field. Your Role As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the implementation of strategy for the supplier / category to drive competitive advantage through cost reduction. You will be accountable for the overall performance of the supply chain, improving innovation, sustainability all in line with company policy. Job duties Implementation of sourcing strategy in line with contractual agreements and policy. Delivery of cost reduction for assigned allocation Drafting of PQQ, TTI, RFI, RFQ Qualify and evaluate tender responses ensure the bid programmes have been fully reached. Effective engagement and communication with all internal stakeholders and customers Supplier relationship management and supplier performance management Supporting head of procurement with additional ad hoc duties What you need Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mid-level similar position Business or Engineering degree Highly analytical, able to evaluate and simplify large levels of data. Strong knowledge of a recognised ERP / MRP System Exposure to the manufacturing/ aerospace/ aviation industry is required. What’s on offer? Salary of up to £55,000 plus a premium Benefits package.
