Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Solicitor to join a successful and busy practice in Leeds City Centre. Our client is a well-established, top 45 law firm with a strong reputation in the Leeds market. The wider Regulatory team offers a broad range of expert advice to healthcare professionals facing possible criminal and professional regulatory sanctions, as well as organisations and individuals facing health & safety, criminal and other regulatory prosecutions. The firm are extremely proud of the of the work they carry out for their clients and the culture they provide. The role primarily focuses on advising local government on matters of child and adult social care issues. Managing a diverse caseload, you will specialise in acting on behalf of various local authorities, protecting their interests in social care matters. Focusing on child protection cases for local authorities but also adult social services, education and local government law cases. The firm believe this role would suit a candidate between 3-8 years PQE or more. It is essential that you have previous child and adult social care experience and acting for local authorities.
