You will have a real passion for education and the ability to deliver outstanding CPD. The school is hoping for an experienced Maths Teacher who is able to focus their efforts on improving the school through long term plans and initiatives. You must show the ability to help every student feel included and engaged with your lessons and deliver lessons that can engage all types of learners. Currently, the Maths department is made up of 10 practitioners, 2 of whom sit on the Senior Leadership Team and have progressed to these posts within the school. With the current HOD Maths planning on retiring in the next few years, there is strong scope for an outstanding Maths Teacher who proves themselves to step up into this role.
