Asbestos Surveyor/Project Manager £28,000 - £32,000 Benefits Birmingham, West Midlands A unique opportunity has arisen within a fast growing UKAS accredited Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Asbestos Management, Fire Risk Assessments and Legionella Testing. Due to a period of company expansion, this leading consultancy are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Asbestos Surveyor to join their Midlands team to work on a range of Midlands based contracts and assist the management team in developing the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor who is looking to take the next step in their career, as on offer is an excellent salary and benefits package along with the opportunity for the position to progression into an Area Surveying Manager role. As an Asbestos Surveyor/Project Manager, you will: Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition surveys on various domestic & commercial type properties Complete comprehensive survey reports to be issued to clients Take the lead and project manage various Midlands based domestic contracts Assist with the tender process and provide quotations Identify new business opportunities and assist with aspects of business development (full training will be provided) Building strong relationships with new and existing clients Essential Requirements: BOHS P402 qualification as a minimum (additional BOHS P403, P404 & P405 certifications highly desirable) 3 years' experience in asbestos surveying domestic & commercial type buildings Full UK driving license Previous experience in project management Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent client facing skills Good Working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures Driven and proactive attitude with a keen desire to develop and grow with the company Company Perks: Fully expensed company car/van, company pension scheme, 21 days annual leave bank holidays, excellent overtime rates and options, smart phone and tablet, bonus scheme and the opportunity to develop your skill-set and complete additional asbestos qualifications.
