Software Developer (React, Typescript, Larvel)

Avanti Recruitment is currently recruiting for an inspirational and innovative eLearning company based in north Oxford. This company is looking for a Software Developer (using React, Typescript and Laravel or similar) who is passionate about using the latest technologies in app and web technologies, working in an engaging and dynamic environment. The company offers a brilliant package inc. a salary of up to c£45k, flexible working (including 1-2 days per week from home), bonus scheme and a company pension. This Software Developer role involves developing web applications within the eLearning sector, skills and experience detailed below. Skills and experience: Proficient in HTML and CSS Knowledge of source control systems (inc git) Developing in frontend and backend environments JS skills (& one other language) Previous experience of using RESTful APIs Maintenance of SaaS environment Use of modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) Familiar with linux environment Knowledge of Typescript Hands on experience of PHP (and PHP frameworks), e.g. Laravel or similar Demonstrate experience of cross-platform development (mobile and desktop, cross browser limitations) Proficient in querying relational databases (e.g. MySQL) Previous experience of working with TDD and creating unit tests Desirable skills and knowledge: Relevant qualification (inc. degree, vocational training etc) Experience of Open Source software Prior experience of eLearning industry AWS Knowledge of CI/CD processes Awareness of web accessibility guidelines For more information please apply online or feel free to contact Mike Walton at Avanti Recruitment in Reading.
