Company Overview We are working with one of the UK’s leading IT and Data Solution providers who are looking for a Microsoft Azure/SQL enthusiast to join their growing team. Our client’s team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists are expanding, and we are looking for this Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions Architect to be a lead expert within the team. Position Overview You will be responsible for design and delivering of Microsoft SQL and Azure Data Platform projects. You will be responsible for the full life cycle management of the project including; consulting reviews, analysis, design and documentation. You will also work along side sales teams in a pre-sales capacity to work on both partner and customer meetings as well as workshops. Working with the team and management to develop service offerings and finding better ways to deliver projects and increase customer satisfaction Key Skills Required Strong experience in delivering Microsoft SQL Server projects and recent exposure to working with Azure SQL Commercial experience in project delivery from technical pre-sales, design, deployment and documentation Exposure to working on multi-technology platforms incorporating either a NoSQL or BigData technology Experience in presenting proposals and reviewing findings to your team and management Has a strong ambition to always find better ways of delivering projects and stay on top of the latest technology trends.
