Overview

Reed Social Care are currently working with Darlington Council to find multiple Social Workers with prior experience in Child Protection to join a variety of Children and Families teams within the authority. Each of the teams carries Child Protection and related cases from Initial Child Protection Conference to proceedings. Some duties for these teams are: - Completing s47 investigations - Initiating court proceedings - Managing a caseload of CP, CIN and LAC - Attending child protection conferences Applicants must have a qualification in Social Work to degree level or equivalent (e.g BSc, BA, MA, CQSW, DipSW) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
