HPN Community Nurse

Are you a registered nurse who is passionate about patient care and keen to specialise in a certain area? Bionical Solutions are seeking nurses to join their specialist Home Parenteral Nutrition teams across the UK and are offering full training and support in the area, no previous HPN experience required This role is paying £29-31k with a £400 per month travel allowance, full training and other industry leading benefits. You'll be visiting patients within their own homes and ensuring they receive gold-standard care throughout their treatment. We're looking for caring individuals from NHS or Private sector backgrounds who are keen to travel, do home visits and maintain high quality standards. Clinically you'll be connecting and disconnecting, maintaining and training in infection control, empowering patients to manage their own care (where possible), liaising with your team to share ideas and best practice and being their as a key point of contact for patients throughout their period of care. Offering a patient focused approach and tailoring to patients' individual needs Supporting patients that are receiving home parenteral nutrition Empowering patients to manage their own care through coaching and training Supporting patients through communication Home visits Priding yourself on offering safe nursing care Building long lasting patients with patients and NHS stakeholders Escalating patient concerns to NHS and regional management Working within NMC code Completion of Bionical training Completion of required documentation What experience do you need? Registered Nurse Willingness to travel Awareness of NHS practices and NHS lines of communication Experience in cannulation, phlebotomy and catheterisation (desirable) Experience in working in the community (desirable) Working in a regulated environment If you put patients first in everything you do and want to make a positive difference to people, then we'd love to hear from you.
