Overview
We are currently recruiting for Qualified Support Workers to start work for our client in Wolverhampton. The purpose of the Support Worker role is to work with young people in a residential home specialising in meeting the needs of individuals with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Main duties for the Support Worker role: Positive structured environment User involvement Ongoing assessment Positive responses to challenging behaviour Risk management / safeguarding Reporting concerns related to young people Personal care and medication Qualifications required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent Working hours for the Support Worker role: Shifts start at 9:30am – 11pm, followed by a sleep in. The rota consists of a combination of double and single shifts, 40 hours per week, flexible on a rota basis.
