Clinical Nurse Advisor - Surgical Drapes, Gowns and Tray Wraps Basic salary between £35,000 and £38,000 depending on experience car 15% bonus benefits Covering the North of England, ideal location M62 corridor or Midlands but this can be flexible In the current climate, organisations including hospitals are looking for reusable, environmentally friendly options for all products and services rather than disposable one use items. My client provides a solution to hospitals throughout the UK for sterile, reusable drapes, gowns and tray wraps for theatre. We are looking for an experienced band 5 registered nurse or Operating Department Practitioner who can go into the existing client hospitals and build relationships with the clinical teams, understand how the service is working within those hospitals and advise on products and services. You'll also facilitate trials within new customer hospitals and works closely with the customer to ensure that things run smoothly. The Role: This role is an advisory, training and customer support position requiring clinical understanding and expertise. You will be supporting the existing customers who have their gowns, tray wraps and drapes supplied through a sterile reusable service agreement. Carrying out regular service visits to ensure they are receiving the best service possible and identifying areas that could be improved or additional products they aren't aware of This role involves visiting hospitals throughout the north of England from the Midlands up to and including the Newcastle area Speaking to clinical staff within the hospitals to build up relationships, understand what's working well for them and what isn't You will also support the sales team within the company to understand clinical challenges and help develop products and solutions that will make a difference to the customers day to day. Part of the role is to complete reports after customer meetings and ensure all areas are acted upon by the business as a whole to ensure customer satisfaction at all times. This is a large area so there will be a need to stay away from home depending on which customer you're working with each day and where they are located. The Person: Because this role is dealing with clinical staff and advising at this level each day, we need someone with theatre/scrub experience who is a registered general nurse or registered operating department practitioner. Any commercial experience would be an advantage but isn't essential You'll need a full UK driving license as there is a company car with the role Strong communication skills are essential as you'll be speaking to customers and internal teams all the time You will be a real relationship builder and able to ask the right questions to truly understand the challenges the clinical staff have on a daily basis. It's also vital you are comfortable with extensive travel throughout the north and midlands and can stay away from home when needed. The Package: There is a basic salary offered between £35,000 and £38,000 depending on experience A bonus is available up to 15% of salary each year There is a company car and fuel card Company credit card for expenses Laptop and phone 25 days holiday bank holidays This is a Monday to Friday role only This position is available immediately due to expansion.
